Home & Community Support provides practical, personal and community-based support for NDIS, DVA and My Aged Care recipients across Yorke Peninsula.
We understand that good support is not just about filling a shift or meeting a schedule. It is about taking the time to understand each person, building trust over time and creating a team that genuinely fits around their needs, preferences and daily routine.
At Home & Community Support, we focus on matching clients with workers who feel like the right fit, not just someone who is available. This helps create a sense of familiarity and comfort, allowing support to feel more natural and less disruptive. We believe that when the right people are in place, support becomes more consistent, more meaningful and more helpful in everyday life.
Our support services are designed to assist people at home, in the community and during times when extra care is needed. We work with NDIS participants, DVA recipients and My Aged Care clients, offering flexible support that can be shaped around each person’s goals, lifestyle and day-to-day needs.
Respectful assistance with personal routines, including showering, dressing, grooming and other daily care needs. We focus on comfort, dignity and support that feels calm and familiar.
Support to stay connected, attend activities, enjoy outings, visit friends or family, and take part in the community with confidence.
Light gardening support for existing clients, helping with basic outdoor tasks so the home environment feels safer, tidier and easier to enjoy.
Respite options at a rural property near Edithburgh, offering a peaceful setting for clients who may benefit from time away in a calm and relaxed environment.
Practical help around the home, including cleaning, laundry, meal preparation and everyday household tasks that make home life easier to manage.
Help with everyday tasks, routines and activities that support independence, confidence and quality of life at home and in the community.
Respite support provided in the client’s own home, giving families and carers time to rest while knowing their loved one is supported by a trusted team.
Looking for the right support?
If you are looking for support at home, in the community or during a period of respite, we would be happy to talk through your needs. Contact Home & Community Support to ask a question, discuss availability or find out how we may be able to help across Yorke Peninsula.
Home & Community Support is built on decades of hands-on experience across care, education and individual support. Our founder began working in the care space in 1996, later moving into education and community-based support before starting Home & Community Support in 2015.
Today, our team brings a broad range of skills, qualifications and life experience, allowing us to support clients with care that is practical, respectful and personal.
We do our best to build a support team that suits each client. This means looking at personality, needs, goals and routines, not just availability on a roster.
If we do not have the right person for a client’s needs, we will be honest about that. We can also connect with other providers to help clients find support that is more suitable.
Our work is guided by inclusivity, equality, collaboration and altruism. We believe people deserve to be heard, respected and supported in a way that reflects who they are.
